Lost in Detroit Wins "Best Reality" in
Kentucky Festival

 

It was announced Motor City Massacre's film "Lost in Detroit" won "Best Reality Film" at the 2014 Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville, Kentucky. The complete list of the festival's winners was revealed during the first of two Fright Night film conventions held August 1st-3rd. The second of the two, Fright Night Horror Weekend is scheduled for October 3rd-5th in Louisville. 

 

​LOST IN DETROIT 2 Premiers at 48 Hour Film
Screenings.

 

Wednesday, July 23rd, Lost in Detroit 2 debuted during the Class D screenings for the 48 Hour Film Project Detroit at the Maple Theatre in Bloomfield, MI to a packed house.

The 48 Hour Film Project Awards are scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th and will be held at The Magic Bag, 22920 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 from 8p-11p.

Horror film enthusests frequently go to promotehorror.com to read up on the latest indy horror projects, including the latest short from director, Benjie Solorzano. "The Live-In" premiered April 2014 on front on a packed audience at the Mitten Movie Project; a film festival that promotes Michigan-made films, trailers and music videos. The Live-In came in second place in the audience vote and continues to show at film fests around the country. 

Motor City Massacre Take Home Three Awards
for "Lost in Detroit" in 48 Hour Film Project

 

Lost in Detroit was honored with three awards from the 2013 Detroit 48 Hour Film Project, including second place overall. The MCM crew was also given the "Group C Audience Favorite" award and "Best Use of Required Line" award for Laura Besh's charachter's line "What's wrong with it?"
